What is the process of child’s acceptance to school?

After filling out the online application, the school administrator will contact you and notify you about the interview. At school you will meet two teachers. You will be informed of the decision within 5 days.

Is it possible to visit the school for viewing?

After filling out the online application, you will be notified of the open door date.

Do you accept children who are in need of special care?

The school has an inclusive education specialist, has an adapting environment and is ready to accept children who are in need of special care, although the decision to enroll any child is made on the basis of individual interviews.

At what age can a child be enrolled in school?

The first grade includes children who are 6 years old by June 15.

How many grades does your school offer?

Enrolled children will be able to complete 12 classes.

What subjects do you teach?

The Saguramo Natural Science School curriculum covers all subjects covered by the National Curriculum. Particular attention will be paid to the enhanced teaching of foreign languages ​​and natural sciences.

There is a 10% discount for siblings on tuition fees.

 

What is the principle of teaching?

Teaching at the Saguramo Natural Science School is based on the principles of Waldorf pedagogy and is integrated with practical activities such as agriculture and traditional handicraft workshops.

 

How much is the monthly fee?

The monthly fee without transportation is 500 GEL (including two meals 110 GEL).

Does the school provide transportation for children?

The school s provides transporting students from Tbilisi to Saguramo in a minibus equipped with seat belts, led by an experienced driver. Departure from the meeting place at 8:45, return at 17:15.

 

How much does the school transportation cost?

The monthly transportation fee is 160 GEL.

 

What about nutrition?

Children will be provided with two daily meals. Food, including bread, will be prepared only using local products.

Till what time are the classes held?

A minibus will leave Tbilisi from the meeting spot at 8:40 am. The learning process takes place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The children will return to the meeting spot in Tbilisi at 17:00.

 

Where is the school located?

The school is located in Saguramo, 200 meters away from the central road (See the map).
