The Kindergarten

Kindergarten

Preschool years are one of the most important stages in child's development. During this period, child spends almost all its energy to form a physical body. This becomes the basis for its further healthy development.

Environment

A small child is in a way, entirely a sensory perception organ. Its scope of perception is very large. He is able to quietly sense the atmosphere, learns everything by imitation, example - he is completely a reflection of the environment.
That is why it is so important to spend most of the day in a natural, healthy and varied environment - what it sees, hears, and whether it feels calm and protected. Preschoolers should feel that people around them and the environment in which they live are kind to them and accept them - "the world is kind."

Play

The most important part of a child's life is a free play, during which imagination spreads its wings and child shifts into a magical world. The simpler the toy, the more space it gives to the child’s imagination - one simple branch of a tree can turn into a huge sword, and the yellow autumn leaf can become a fairy bed. Play is one of the cornerstones of the healthy development.

Rhythm and harmony

Both man and nature live in big and small rhythms: inhaling/exhaling, sleeping/waking, seasons of the year, and so on. A day in the Kindergarten is also built on this principle (see the daily schedule). Free play and concentration period alternate. Such daily rhythm shapes child without force, gives it a feeling of calm and stability. In addition to intensely sensing nature's events, living in the great rhythms of the year is conditioned by listening to the stories of appropriate content, by celebrations and feasts.

Nutrition

Human food - fruits, vegetables and various grains - carry forces of nature that has created it - the warmth of the sun, the life of water, the energy of earth. Even in animal foods - dairy products, eggs, honey or meat - the processes that these products have gone through to reach us, continue.

Quality, diversity and abundance of these forces - as the quality of food - are essential for the growth and development of a small child. Apart of that, bread baking and food preparation also carry social and developmental functional meaning.

Natural environment and physical activity

Fresh air, tranquility, scent of flowers, buzz of insects and chirping of birds, crawling of snails, sound of donkey's croak, warmth of freshly milked milk or softness of sheep's wool are real, unforgettable impressions for a small child. Along with physical activity in the backyard garden, stall or workshop, they are factors that contribute to the physical and emotional development of each individual child.

That which has been the natural environment of a man for centuries, is a valuable pedagogical resource to be rediscovered today.

Transportation and fees

Kindergarten Day (except transportation) lasts 7 hours and includes variety of fun and developmental activities, as well as three meals a day prepared with local products. Kindergarten's daily schedule is arranged in such a way that it does not provide for daytime sleep, so it is desirable to enroll children starting from the age of about 3-4.
